Hello, and welcome to PsyConnect, a platform for therapists and people seeking therapy to find the right person for them without the stress.
I’m Ruth, and I’m very happy to share PsyConnect with you. As the co-founder of this platform, together with my husband Francisco, I’m thrilled to see our vision come to life. Developing PsyConnect has been a steep learning curve, but we’ve done our best to embrace the challenges, drawing from our personal and professional experiences - including from our journeys in seeking therapy and from Francisco's perspective as a therapist.
As a mum of two young children, with a background in the UK charity sector, I know firsthand the time and emotional stresses that come with trying to balance personal and professional growth, alongside mental health. My hope is that PsyConnect will offer a user-friendly platform for people seeking therapy, but also a positive supportive space for therapists where you can find support, understanding, and the resources you need to thrive. In addition to this, we hope what we have built will allow therapists to benefit financially from referring to your fellow professionals - through the PsyConnect system - and to pick up referals easily when you have free slots to fill.
My personal goal for PsyConnect is to try to develop and improve our platform so it responds as well as possible to the needs of both clients and therapists. In order to make this happen, your feedback is needed and welcomed. This is especially relevant right now - as we launch this new endeavor, but it will always be relevant and needed. We’ve poured our hearts - as well as significant time and money- into this platform, aiming to create something that really fulfills a gap in the market, and we hope that it does just that.

If you’re a therapist join PsyConnect - when you have enquiries from clients you can’t take, refer them to Psyconnect (using your unique code), and when you don’t have a full caseload find the right clients using PsyConnect.
