Hi, I'm Susana, I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist accredited with the BABCP. I have been working in the mental health field for over 17 years. During this time, I had the opportunity to build ample experience working with a wide range of mental health difficulties.  I specialise in treating complex trauma using a combination of CBT and EMDR approaches. I also have a lot of experience in treating all other anxiety disorders including; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I am qualified in using interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) approaches to treat moderate to severe depression and other mental health difficulties with good outcomes.

How can I help you?

In my psychotherapy work, I aim to inspire hope in those struggling with mental health difficulties that are often upsetting and overwhelming. I offer therapy that is specifically tailored to their needs. I provide evidence-based interventions and strategies that have proven positive effect on my client's mood and quality of life.  

My approach is collaborative using evidence-based interventions and approaches to help you better understand how your difficulties may have developed and how they may be maintained. I work in partnership with you to find more helpful ways and strategies that helps you to manage and cope with the difficulties in more adaptive ways.

My client group includes adults, older adults and young people over 16 years.
