Biography
am a qualified, integrative counsellor, My approach draws on a blend of therapeutic models, including Person‑Centred Therapy and Psychodynamic theory, combined with creative and holistic techniques such as mindfulness and guided visualisation. I tailor each session to your individual needs, ensuring therapy feels accessible, collaborative, and grounded in what works best for you.
I specialise in working with addiction and recovery, supporting individuals at every stage of their journey from active use, to reduction, detox, and long‑term sobriety. My work also extends to supporting relatives of those struggling with addiction, helping them navigate the emotional impact, co‑dependency, and feelings of helplessness that often arise.
I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism. As someone who is both ADHD and Autistic myself, I bring lived understanding, sensitivity, and a neuro‑affirming approach to the therapeutic relationship. I recognise the unique challenges neurodivergent individuals can face, and I work collaboratively to create a space that feels safe, validating, and tailored to your way of experiencing the world.
My aim is to build a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel empowered to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Sessions can be short‑term and goal‑focused or open‑ended, depending on your needs. We will discuss your goals together and work at a pace that feels right for you. Sessions last 50 minutes and are held weekly.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, bereavement, low self‑esteem, long‑term illness, and general emotional difficulties. I have worked with people from all walks of life, including teenagers and adults, and have supported young people in college settings with issues related to social media pressures, learning differences, and the challenges of growing up in a digital world.
